A Proper Man's Letter

Posted by John Kubach on 9:00 PM

This is a letter sent by a man named Joseph. He is a sword dueling master and has been challenged to a duel by a man named Adam V. Joseph is well know for his linguistic skills, so he demonstrates this by sending letters like this to his opponents.

My good gentleman Adam V,
I hath accepted thy dare to dual by the oak tree
But why challenge a master such as me?
Surely thy head is full of debris

I see thou hast some doubts
Pertaining to my success in this bout
But worry no longer my fine man
For I will amputate thy hand
And relocate it to a rubbish can

My name is know both far and wide,
From Qatar to Russia’s south side
Often referred to as the swordsman of the sky,
For I have dueled both monster and man
All of which I have proved to be better than
I would expect thee to lose a duel to a blind man

Do not ponder who will walk from this oak tree
For my victory is guaranteed
And do not worry about frightning me
As I have seen more fearsome Christmas trees than thee

Lastly I would like to praise,
My Lord, God, who has given me glorious days
The day of this duel thou will surely die
For I have God on my side

It is here I end this letter
This letter that I hope thy found rather clever
As it is the last one thou will read in forever

Peace Out
-J-Dog

P.S.
Attached to this letter made by a master
Is a portrait of a man you will find most dapper

This man is I
It is now I say goodbye.

"This is a letter sent by a man named Joseph."

Becomes:

"A man named Joseph sent this letter."
